I absolutely love the smell, texture and natural nature of leather and the joy of making each hole and joining each stitch to create a unique product is amazing.
From a young age my mother encouraged me to sew; I can’t remember a time without hand stitching in my life.
I learnt my leather stitching skills from the Tanner Bates studio in Dartington and also had some private tuition to broaden my skills.
My business started in the Cotswolds in my little studio on the High street in Chipping Campden, but a move into Monmouthshire to the beautiful woods above Tintern in 2017, with a new workshop amongst the trees, has helped to focus on my purpose.
