The Abbey Mill site
Abbey Mill is set in the glorious Wye Valley in the Village of Tintern, which is situated between Monmouth and Chepstow.
The site, which also has a restaurant and a fish pond, is about a quarter of a mile down the road from the Abbey itself.
If coming from the direction of Chepstow you will pass Tintern Abbey on your right and drive another quarter of a mile Abbey Mill can be found on the right.
The old mill wheel still works and can be heard turning quite noisily every half an hour much to the amusement of many of our visitors. The water for the mill is sourced from the River Angidy, which runs through the site and on into the River Wye.
The Abbey Mill site is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can find out more about Abbey Mill at www.abbeymill.co.uk
