Info on Wye Valley Crafts at Abbey Mill
Our shop at Abbey Mill in Tintern provides many of our members with an opportunity to sell their wares. The shop can be found in the Angiddy Room which is on the ground floor of the mill building at the Wye Valley centre.
Abbey Mill is about a quarter of a mile down the road from the Abbey itself. If coming from the direction of Chepstow, pass the Abbey on your right and drive another quarter of a mile and Abbey Mill can be found on the right.
Our shop is one of five on the site which also has a restaurant and a fish pond which make up the Wye Valley Centre at Abbey Mill. The old mill wheel still works and can be heard turning quite noisily every half an hour, much to the amusement of our many of our visitors. The water from the mill rushes down to the River Wye, which runs alongside Abbey Mill itself.
Demonstrations of our crafts are given at weekends and throughout school holidays.
